Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of motion.com.sg (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, do not use the Site.

1) Purpose of the Site (no offer / no services delivered online)

The Site is provided for promotional and informational purposes. It showcases our work and capabilities and allows you to contact us or submit career information.
Nothing on the Site constitutes a binding offer to provide services. Any engagement with Motion is subject to separate agreed terms (for example, a written proposal and/or contract).

2) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
  • attempt unauthorised access to the Site or related systems;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site (including introducing malware);
  • use automated means (bots/scrapers) to extract content or data from the Site at scale; or
  • misuse our enquiry or careers submission features (spam, false info, malicious uploads).

We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe your use risks harm to the Site, other users, or us.

3) Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all content on the Site—including text, visuals, design elements, branding, and case study materials—is owned by or licensed to Motion and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and print pages for your personal or internal business reference only. You must not reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written permission.

4) Enquiries, submissions, and uploaded materials

When you submit information through the Site (including any files), you confirm that:

  • the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • you have the right to provide it; and
  • your submission does not contain malware or unlawful content.

We are not obliged to respond to every enquiry or to progress every job application.

Licence for submissions (limited purpose): You grant Motion a non-exclusive licence to use and reproduce your submission only to the extent necessary to respond to your enquiry, evaluate your application, and manage related administration.

5) Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which should be read with these Terms.

6) Linking to the Site

You may link to the Site in a fair and lawful way that does not damage our reputation or falsely suggest association, approval, or endorsement. You must not frame the Site or present it in a way that misrepresents your relationship with Motion. We may withdraw linking permission if we reasonably consider a link harmful or misleading.

7) Third-party links

The Site may include links to third-party websites or platforms (e.g., social media). Those third parties operate independently and we are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.

8) No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. You are responsible for implementing appropriate IT security safeguards when using the internet.

9) Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Motion will not be liable for any loss or damage (including indirect, incidental, special, consequential loss; loss of profit/revenue; loss of business; loss of data; loss of goodwill) arising out of or in connection with:

  • your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Site;
  • reliance on Site content; or
  • any security issue or harmful code transmitted via the Site.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Motion harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

11) Changes to the Site or these Terms

We may update the Site or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.

12) Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
