At its annual Gateway to ASEAN Conference 2025, UOB set out to reaffirm its position as ASEAN’s most extensive trade network—connecting businesses across markets, industries and opportunities. For this milestone edition marking the bank’s 90th anniversary, we designed an end-to-end experience that elevated the brief into a defining statement of unity, leadership and regional purpose.

“Strength in Unity” translated into a living, sensory narrative

Anchored on the conference theme Strength in Unity, Motion developed a distinctive visual identity that celebrated ASEAN’s interconnected growth. A composite skyline—uniting iconic landmarks from every UOB market—formed the centrepiece, deployed across large-format LED canvases, digital interfaces and print collaterals. The visual system created a cohesive, immersive environment that balanced elegance with clarity, reinforcing UOB’s regional leadership and forward momentum. The conference plenary, conceived as a dynamic multimedia canvas, brought together keynotes, panels and fireside conversations shaped around ASEAN’s economic future.

From knowledge exchange to meaningful connection

Beyond the main stage, the Marketplace and Business Lounge became vibrant environments for connection, reimagined as “Passion Pavilions” that encouraged meaningful exchange and discovery through AI-assisted networking and showcase zones. Motion’s signature hospitality approach ensured seamless guest journeys, from personalised registration and concierge services to guided transitions across sessions. The programme concluded with an evocative transformation of space, sound and light—dinner celebrations accented by a bespoke ASEAN-forward menu, video stories chronicling UOB’s 90-year legacy, and live performances that paid tribute to unity in diversity.
